Hello! I am Holly, a Jazz, Swing & Modern Easy Listening Vocalist from the heart of Kent, in England, and here is a little bit about me...
Performing has always been the dream and I am so thankful I get to say this is my full time job! I studied Musical Theatre first at The Southern Theatre Arts Centre and then at The American Musical Theatre Academy in London. A degree that I feel gives me the extra pizzazz in my performances today and the ability to sing all genres of music. After college, I joined one of the show teams aboard Aida Cruises. A real career highlight and where "Miss Holiday Swing" found her (sea) legs! As one of the lead vocalist on board, in addition to the staged shows, I had to create a solo show and could think of nothing better than showcasing songs from a bygone era.
When I came back to dry land, I decided to pursue the act Miss Holiday Swing further and firmly secured my place as a Wartime tribute singer across the UK. Fast forward 8 years and I have expanded my repertoire immensely, dedicating my career to music from the 1920's & onwards. I've been lucky enough to sing at prestigious events & venues such as The Twinwood Festival, Mr Fogg's Tavern, aboard Saga Cruises and for The Venice Simplon Orient Express! Not to mention all the picturesque wedding venues where I get to sing Bride's & Groom's down the aisle. I'm always honoured to perform at amazing anniversaries & birthday parties and an abundance of corporate events!
2024 is looking set to be another busy year! I am looking forward to singing for all my couples at their weddings. Each day is so special! I am also continuing my Residencies at Valerie's Wine Bar in Ashford, The Waterfront in Hythe and starting a new one at The Socialite in Canterbury. There are also some exciting gigs coming up with my band, Miss Holiday & The Swingtones.
